In 2016 Sirmax acquired Nord Color, a company with more than thirty years' specialized experience in the development and production of tailor-made technical engineering plastics compounds and masterbatches. This was a very important step for Sirmax's strategic growth; thanks to Nord Color's expertise in the field of engineering plastics, Sirmax was able to expand its range of products for the automotive, home appliance, furniture, power tools and the leisure industries. The S. Vito plant hosts the global R&D center for engineering plastics compounds.
